The design of Juneja residence incorporates strategic openings that allow an abundance of natural light to filter in while maintaining a sense of privacy with the use of the perforated screen, resulting in an introspective and harmonious living space. By partially masking the windows towards the west, we were able to create shadows that minimize solar heat gain while allowing for diffused light to enter the house. On the other hand, the northern elevation (facing the park) benefits from openings and terraces that maximize both views and shade.
